As I recall Celebrity Basses, at one time, had 4 screws in the neck plate and later only 3. I personally would want 4... They are lighter than other Mosrites due to hollow body but do not sound the same as say a Ventures Model solid body. The ones with pickups that have no screw pole pieces...

My UBass was purchased 1-4-12 from American Musical Supply and it has the same thing that "looks" like a truss rod. My Mfgr box had a bright green round sticker that had "RH" "9/24" written in pen. Perhaps it is some sort of QC sticker with a date of 9/24 (2011)???
