    Benjamin Orr's Precision basses.

haha I was just watching The Cars live 84 Houston and had the same question. Never knew this. Thanks!!

Anybody else went back to rounds?

Completely agree with you on this. Two of my Precisions have flats, others are roundwounds (I prefer a brighter midrange tone with some depth). Love the feel and tone when they're new, but to me they're ugly after a month. Changed my world with EB cobalt flats!

Fender Starcaster (the modern player series reissue)

Love my Starcaster bass in the burst. Crazy how they basically doubled in price on the used market. I actually like the stock pickup and won't change them since i mainly play modded Precisions. This just has different tone and all around feel.

Olive green bass - yay, or nay?

That’s beautiful. The pickguard really makes it pop. Cream or aged white?

Olive green bass - yay, or nay?

I know Jackson has officially been using that color name for a while, but I think it’s become the accepted color name throughout companies. But I know what u mean 🤣

Olive green bass - yay, or nay?

Just ordered an Olive Drab Precision from Warmoth, satin finish. Going with black pickguard, knobs, bridge, jack cover and pickups (Relentless P & MM). Thinking about using a roasted maple Jazz neck with black block inlays (going with chrome tuners though)

Steve Harris' red P Bass. Save me from the rabbit hole!

The blue "lightning" Precision he's using with British Lion is really cool looking

Precision Bass: Vintera vs Vintera II

Snagged a Vintera II 50's body from The STRATosphere in Desert Sand. Probably going to pair with a slimmer roasted maple neck. I think DS, Walnut and Sunset Metallic are some of the most beautiful colors Fender has put out. One day I'd love an Oxblood Precision...though it'd have to be custom lol

Which phrase annoys you the most?

i got this, you got this, yolo, live your best life, or any of the other lame saying used in offices or commercials. And here's a tip...if a catchphrase is being used in commercials or on the news, that means it's already out of fashion when the adults start using it.

    DiMarzio's Billy Sheehan 'Relentless' pickups

The Squier CV 70's is a great bass (i have one in walnut). The Relentless P in gold is a worthy compliment of a solid workhorse in black! Edit...it just hit me that it's a 40th anniv edition. But i think they may be similar. Either way what a great combo! :)

    DiMarzio's Billy Sheehan 'Relentless' pickups

Got two on order. I’m blind buying with confidence…been waiting for this release a loooong time! Pretty sure they’ll match any fender

Dimarzio Relentless J and Sixties J pickups

Have two Relentless J bridges on order (nickel & gold). Can’t wait to see how they sound…been waiting for this release since the neck & middle came out! Will be nice to have a J that matches the power and tone of the others.

    Binding on the Body?

Great topic…surprised there aren’t more posts on this thread. Just ordered a Warmoth P in Daphne blue with pearloid binding. Going to use a pearloid pickguard and a Fender roasted maple neck. Like a tattoo decision, Ive debated the binding for months, I’ve done graphic mock-ups and I’m pretty...
