DiMarzio's Billy Sheehan 'Relentless' pickups

Does anyone know how the poles are arranged. The description says they have a broad magnetic field that's good for bending. Does that mean they have poles right next to each other like the Willpowers do? Or is it 2 poles per string like a regular P pickup with a wider/stronger magnetic field?

I ask because I'm wondering if these may work for one of my projects that has non standard string spacing.

Yes the poles are like a Willpower, this is the underside:

Neat! I didn’t know they (or the Willpowers) were constructed like that. That’s essentially a magnetic blade. Much more flexible than the 7ender standard.

Yes, Dimarzio sales rep and Billy Sheehan himself have said that a Relentless J should come to be.... eventually.

More folks should call Dimarzio, as I did when I ordered 3 Relentless P pickups, and ask when the J version will be released. If we keep asking, Dimarzio will know that demand is still high and possibly speed up the process.

Drawing shows the radius to be 10".

i saw billy's post on instagram and immediately went over to check it out on the dimarzio website...i've been tracking this since he gave us a sneak peek a good while back, and I'm happy to see them finally on the market...also in a 60's j model, super cool! i checked the drawing and saw R10.00, and thought that this was the radius, happy to hear someone else sort of confirming that i read the drawing properly...looks like it's time to start that warmoth project with 10" usacg neck

looks like they're available!!

anyone know what that radius actually is? im sure it would match a fender?

i'd LOVE to hear samples. I have my old P/J bass in need of restoration, adding these pickups may be part of the project now..
Got two on order. I’m blind buying with confidence…been waiting for this release a loooong time! Pretty sure they’ll match any fender
