Same story with me. Sold my old Ampeg gear and ran a SansAmp RBI trough a power amp and im over it. Currently looking for a SVT-3 as well.

For me it’s stage volume. I play in a metal band and my drummer hits hard. We also play a lot of small venues and I don’t trust the house gear or sound guy. Some time there are only monitors for the singer. I simply can’t leave it up to chance and I need to control my own situation.

My singer purchased a Hatebreed toured bass that was signed as well. Im sure he "overpaid" for the bass too, but it's worth it! No different than someone buying signed sports memorabilia. Looks great, congrats!

I play in a metal band and it would be absolutely impossible to play with out a cab on stage. The wedge monitor just doesn’t cut it. I even refuse to turn down my rig so the sound guy can “get a good mix”

Quite the situation trying to find a double (2) bass case because when searching, cases for double basses come up, get it? Anyway I have been searching for a sided by side road case style case for two basses. bradycases.com had a great one but wondering if there are any other options? Canada...
