3 Bass Limit

For what I usually play, great sonic versatility turns out to be more or less redundant.
I only need a good working sound. So as things stand now I could easily make do
with these three:

1 - MIJ P copy, ash/maple/rounds
2 - MIJ P copy, alder/rw/flats
3 - Reverend Mercalli

... or at a pinch, even any one of them.

Removing the original finish on a bass and clear-coating over it so the wood grain shows through. It became more common as the sixties progressed toward the seventies. This '62 is the earliest I've seen. The next earliest is the P belonging to Chuck Portz, the original bassist for the Turtles.
Ah, got it. My 65 Jazz is a stripper too
