    The Fryette does everything you need and more if you can live with the price and fan. Sounds pretty good as an amp/DI in its own right too

    So the Fryette arrived. Sounds good and works well but man is the fan loud - not great for the studio. As a attenuator it keeps the vibe of the amp really well. As a production tool, V-4B into that - speaker out looped back in the amp input - DI out. Sounds niice. With bass, synths...

    Agree. The techs in the shop are having another look and I’m getting a custom tort guard for it so will get them to have a look too. Shame because otherwise it’s a great bass
