1999 Modulus Quantum 5. There was a shim in the neck pocket. It is absolutely terrible, considering its $4000 MSRP . Also, its voice is not as great as the price, especially with original Barts. I`ve always have to tweak a lot to get an acceptable sound.

I didn`t play my korean NS for a while. Yesterday I took it out and I saw that the bridge had collapsed. Twenty years of string tension finished it off. There were no hits or anything like that, the bass was stored in the closet. I've never seen anything like this before.

Yes, the weight is significant. I need to get used to it. Come on, it`s just a piece of wood. Each your awakening in the morning is much more valuable than this. Thank you very much. I had some doubts while waiting for delivery. But after minor adjustments this bass is very pleasant to play...

I suddenly became the owner of NS2000/5(?). The bass looks unused, there is no fret wear, no scratches, nothing.

I never was completely happy with Barts. These pickups are custom made and they give me the right feel, especially in a passive mode.

I ride DL650. This is my second bike, the first was a Boulevard M50. Riding cruiser, I faced some limitations and decide to change class. But sometimes I miss tough guy sitting position and v-twin sound.

I own this old EBM-5F for a couple of days now. It has some dings and cracks, half-dead aliexpress preamp and barbarically implemented killswitch. But the playability is OK, and I really admire narrow string space. Will use it for learning fretless.

A friend of mine owned a 1991 SR1000. I didn`t like extremely thin weak neck, weird bridge and tone control system with 3-position switch. And, yes, overall sound was not bad, but too trebly. When we compared it to my 2002 SR755, he decided to get rid of it.

Both of my main basses were bought abroad, and I had issues with them. Hopefully, everything was solved, but if you have no skills/wish/money to fix possible problems, don`t do it.
