Thanks for Giving that Bass a Home. It really was a Great axe!!

The 6 string Parker Fly bass was given to me by Ken. It had a bottom horn on it just like Steve's Bass but it fell of when I went to Africa with Jonathan Butler. The case that I had was not made for that shape. That bass sounded great!!

I would pray that "ALL" bass players should be able to play tight basslines. I'm just saying that when a bassist works on runs all day, also work on thinking about tasteful approaches to pocket situations. Country Music and Blues have open my eyes. I could always figure out melodic passages but...

The point to this post is a "How to get and keep a World Class Gig as an Employee". If you choose to chase the musical fills that we hear in our heads , then that is truly a personal issue. I don't hear many touring pro's tell the real truth about the very limited amount of great gigs out here...

I hope that they know that I consider myself to be a soloist too,but I LOVE the role of foundation bassist more.

I believe that bass player and bassist is the same thing. I think that the "title" is dictated by the crew you choose.
