Jam Pedals Rattler Bass vs. Backburner Noise Big Booty Judy

I had (2) big box reissue RATs that I LOVED... on my P-bass and my telecaster. They did not play as nice with my Stingray to my ears. The blend on the TAFM definitely helps the high gain play nicer with the active Stingray tone. Thanks for everyone's input! The Rattler may be too tame for what...

Jam Pedals Rattler Bass vs. Backburner Noise Big Booty Judy

I've been rocking a TAFM for like a year now for my dirt, which is amazing, but I'm really missing having a good RAT! I've done a lot of research and watched every Youtube video between the Jam Pedals Rattler Bass and the Backburner Noise Big Booty Judy and just can't make my mind up (I'm...

    Heavy Basses

I owned a 1978 Gibson RD Artist that I swear weighed 15 pounds. My P bass weighs around 8-9 and it felt like I was playing two of my P bass at the same time. I was in a project where we practiced 5 hours at a time and my back would kill me all night (and the next day). It sucks because I loved...

    Advice on my set up

I would throw some Rotosound 66’s on it, scoop a little bit of midrange out of the EQ, and crank that treble up and play hard with a pick. My favorite tone with every Gibson bass I owned. Doesn’t cut through a mix but sounds huge (adjust bass to taste)

SOLD American Vintage ‘65 Jazzmaster Olympic White Matching Headstock

Bought this a little while ago but I tracked down a Suhr HSS in my price range and would much rather hang on to that. All mint except a small chip on the headstock paint and a small dent on the body in the arm cutaway (see pictures). Still has the plastic on the pickguard. Includes OHSC which...

SOLD Music Man Stingray Electric Guitar Tobacco Sunburst 2016

Brand new (plastic still on pickguard) Ernie Ball Music Man Stingray Guitar in tobacco sunburst. Super awesome playing and sounding guitar. I'm just selling because a jazzmaster I have been looking for forever has finally popped up for sale. Includes original EBMM case which is basically mint...

Looking for a basic (no pun intended) clean reverb

Earthquaker Devices Dispatch Master! I've been playing a lot of guitar lately... but I plugged my P bass into my guitar board over the weekend and it sounded AMAZING through this. Best sounding reverb I've ever used for sure. And it has delay! Can use just reverb, just delay, or a combo of both...

SOLD 1989 Ampeg SVT-2 Non Pro and Ampeg 810AV Cab with Eminence B810 Speakers

Definitely going to regret this... but I'm playing guitar now in two projects and my girlfriend and I are planning on getting an apartment some time within a year. This is the best rig I've ever owned/played out of. 1989 Ampeg SVT-II Non Pro: - Bought this on TB. Is in a hard rack case that...

    Getting Back Into Guitar

Getting back into guitar also!!! Just scored a great deal on a Nash tele. I wanted something nice to play on. I've played nothing but bass for the past few years and I've been writing a lot of material lately. Hope the P bass doesn't get too jealous ;)

Ok, BIG AMP lovers, which one would you choose...

I've owned about everything on that list (except Reeves... would love one of those) and my 1989 SVT II Non Pro reigns king for me.

The one that got away-- your biggest regret amp sale

Wow!! Was literally about to post this exact thread yesterday! The amp I regretted selling the most was my 1989 SVT 2 Non Pro. The regret hit me the day after I sold it. I contacted the buyer a couple weeks later and he said "no way, this thing is a tone monster!" Fast forward 6 months, and he...

SOLD Ampeg USA SVT AV Anniversary Head

Hey all! I'm looking to sell this USA-made Ampeg SVT-AV head with the cool silver/blue anniversary grill cloth. It has served me well, but I prefer the tone of my SVT-2 non pro and have no need for a Gain knob. The amp is in excellent condition cosmetically and has been gigged sparingly. It has...
