    just take off the neck plate and flip it to the other side.... then u can do what you want with the none engraved side and dont need to buy a new one. that's what i did.

    ya we were thinking about that but don't have any epoxy. we probably will one of these days soon. i do all the 'modding' on his bass so we'll get around to it. what does pot mean?:hiding: ;)hehe but that really sucks sorry to hear it man

    ya we just sanded them down so they're flush with the fretboard... ate up quite a bit of the fretboard in doing so. but it worked none the less

    i bought the b1 as my very first effects pedal. it works pretty good all things considered. gives you alot to work with for a cheap multi. so i'd recommend that. but DEFINITELY DO NOT get the b1x. it's a waste of money and space. the foot pedal is about 5 inches long and goes up and down...

    tried all kind of things... various knifes needlenose plyers swiss army knife toe nail clippers the belt sander worked just fine. and now he's got some really groovy metallic fret marking lines

    my buddy came over today and we had the bright idea of turning his fretted squier into a fretless. so we got out the belt sander and ground the frets down the nothing in about 15 minutes i guess the moral of the story is that burning rosewood smells really good:smug:

    one more thing... i have a Digitech Jamman and i know that it has a XLR mic input built in it. could i use the jamman as my preamp/mixer thing and send the output of the jamman into my computer? that seems like it would work perfectly... i think

    well i'm on a minimal budget so i was hoping to plug the microphone strait into my computer's microphone jack using a 1/4" to 1/8" adapter but if that won't work i'm willing to spend whatever it takes to get it up and running well
