What amp is the most like the SVT4pro

I have II-Pro from 1998. I think the 4pro and 2 pro use the same preamp, but the II-Pro is 6 6550s for power vs solid state for the 4 Pro. I had a 4 pro before getting the 2 pro. I want a lighter travel rig my self in the near future that is better sounding than my current travel rig a TC...

After having the Spector Dimension 5 for 2 weeks and returning it, this was everything that I found wrong with the build quality. 2nd fret high was high. B string saddle drilled and mounted crooked. Nut was cut shorter than the width of the neck. Battery compartment routed too big and had a...

I put Hazlab clones (from Sheldon Crane) in both of my Euro's and I would do it again. So yes I think it's a good price from lhzpreamps to do it, especially if you already have emg pickups in your bass. But it works with any pickups.

Any Spector with EMG DC's and a tone pump or a hazlab clone will get this tone, it's pretty much hitting the nail on the head for 'that spector tone' That blue NS5 looks amazing in stage lights, I've seen it that model before in pictures that don't do it justice.

Well I picked up a Dimension 5 and I'm really disappointed with the build quality for a $2200 instrument. I have wanted a multiscale bass ever since I played a Dingwall NG2 5 string when they first came out about 10 years ago, but am a Spector fanboy. I was aware of all the issues with the...

how did you get your action down to 2.1mm? I set neck relief and I have the f^cking string saddle as low as it can go, and my B string is pretty much right at 1/8" or 3.1~mm and G is about 2mm can drive a damn truck under my strings as far as I'm concerned. Am I missing somethign with the...

Well, I am torn. I finally bought one of these after confirming through pictures from Sweetwater Ebay, that I was getting a late model 6 string pickup version demo model for a good price, $1700, was provided pictures of sn 232552. Only to receive a different serial number, 220793, than I was...

Other than playing older stuff like Korn, or anything requiring a B, the main reason I am back to wanting a 5 string bass is Jinjer. They are one of my favorite bands now. Saw them play earlier this month as an opening act. Hoping the come back soon again as a headliner, they were scheduled...

Nice to see they 'fixed' the issue but there are so many with the short pickups on the market.
