I want to connect headphones to a BG for practice. I have a ZOOM H2N and a HPF-Pre. I don't really care about the sound quality. Can I do the job with one or both of these? I don't have the headphones or BG yet (well, I have earphones but I want to use full headphones).

Just a follow-up here to confirm that LiveBPM is indeed a great app. I've been using it at jam some weeks, and it's great to see how our group speeds up and slows down depending on who is taking a break or whatever.

Also, how about a couple of pics of it mounted by the tailpiece, for those who have done that? The HPF-Pre seems to have two 1/4" jacks, and my Realist pickup also has a 1/4" jack. Should I change the Realist over to having a plug? Or use a super-short cable?

Thank you... your Google-Fu was definitely stronger than mine with the use of "analyzer." I got LiveBPM (for IOS) and it looks great. Records a graph of tempo for a song, etc. Will use it in practice later this week.
