Hey! Both 412 are connectet (fixed) with straps from handle to handle-and I Play the amp only in half power mode to avoid earthquakes ;-)

I think I`ve got a number. And I have to update my gear(new ruby tubes, bought from the guy who got it new incl. flightcase, original footswitch and an original V-Type 1248) Never thougt I could be so lucky Regards Michael

Hi! I think the preamp (including the green front light) is the same as included in V4/V6 Tops I both own-and the green light is shining when te amp is switched on with the mainswitch on the back an it doesn`t change it`s colour! Regards michael

@Dan: The preamp is a tube one and the poweramp ss-it doesn`t sound as mighty as a V6 but for punkrock it should be suitable ;-)

My V8 was stolen after a gig in 2002 and my pre Earny Ball stingray went with him:crying: Only both 1528 remained into the car-perhaps too heavy? In this times it isn`t possible to get a V8 at a reasonable price...... regards michael

Hey! First I took out the fuse, but the crazy guy who used my amp put a short screw into the fuseholder :mad: After that I replaced the xlr connector of the cabinet by a speakon socket knowing the guy won`t /can`t buy a speakon speaker cable-and took it with me after the rehearsal. Meanwhile...
