Hi. I,m gonna change the stock bridge for a Gotoh 201b. Gotoh screws are thinner than stocks, but my New Bridge is Black, not Chrome, so I'd like to put the Black screws from the Gotoh one. The toothpick trick will be enough, or do I need some epoxy adhesive/filler? Thanks in advance

Thanks for your reply. I think I'll wait to hear the stock pickups to take a decision. I'm starting to take bass lessons, at 44, so for me there is no big differences. Same for the strings, Elixir is my fav brand, but they're expensive,so I'll buy some of the thread favorites :) Damn I've seen...
