I made a pickguard myself of tort-only and I think it looks way better:

My very first Stingray after 40 years of Fender (and others): last night I used it at a gig next to my 2 Fenders and I loved it! Very punchy and articulate. I use flats and have the bass and treble at zero!

I like the sound in this vid. I also like the 2 toaster pickups; now I can play comfy resting my thumb on the bridge pickup. I will try one out in the store nearby and share my thoughts.

Nope... For my Pbass. (That I have for sale in the meanwhile. I bought a '75P and can use this pickguard for that bass.)

I think so too! I've ordered one for my Pbass 2 weeks ago. I think it will be worth the wait of 4 months. I already have a Spitfire for my worn Pbass and a Lavaguard for my worn Jazzbass. Those are nice but I think the Avantguard will be better looking.

My 2022 Flea Signature Jazzbass has the same colour fretboard. Love it!
