I don't slap the bass much either it wouldn't bother me as much if i was no where hear slapping the bass and the guy on he front row yells "slapping dabass mon" and i just kinda give him that look like did u really just say that and im not even slapping the bass

When ur playing a gig and some guy or girl in the audience walks up to you and "slapping the bass man." or someone sees u with your bass and says it does it ever get old to y'all or is this just me.
