I have that tascam one but it distorts the bass sound too much,i just plug into my multifx(battery powered)run Big cans from that and sit them over the top of my ipod plugs,works fine.

I have the ME50B too, i find it to do the job just fine,i'm using it for hard compression,bass driver,chorus,delay,octave and there's a slow gear thing on there too which is sorta like ur doing volume swells and sounds really nice. It does the job just fine in a band situation but maybe not...

The Boss one worked just fine,had a bass input on it too...or EBS has chorus,flange and pitch mod in 1 pedal

I say well played too mate,pick style is great if it works for you,like you say it depends what sound/feel ur going for. Cool looking bass too with the chunky inlays etc. Forget this Dooshbag Isaiah with his ibanez,sounds more like a poser!

I feel as though it's all still there only it's a less noisy pre,and the mid freq. gives a whole new range of sound
