Show me your compact pedalboard setup

Can you elaborate as to why? The reviews for the BassRigs seem pretty positive overall. (I understand that their guitar pedals sound great as I already have and love the Deluxe61 pedal).

I'm a little new to bass distortion. I really enjoyed what I've heard thus far of Darkglass stuff, especially the Vintage Microtubes flavor. Does the Bassrig have you missing that Darkglass sound?

Opinions on this small pedalboard build for a Chapman Stick?

I’ll definitely experiment with the LA/2A style compressors.

The Beatbuddy can be controlled with MIDI, which I was planning to do with the ZOIA. I don’t have the the EBS pedal yet. I’ve used software multiband compressors with the bass side and had good results. One somewhat challenging thing with the Stick and and its 5ths tuning for compression is the...

Sounds like it’s got even more features than the Darkglass Infinity series pedals. How do the distortions sound? Wonder if it would sound good to just use the bass version with both sides of the instrument?

I already have a few of these pedals, such as the Deluxe61, the tuner, and the Beat Buddy. I’m primarily a guitar player. I use the Stick as a “clean part/interlude” layering instrument. It’s also fun to use the it to trigger synths and make pads while playing a bass line. The Stick doesn’t...

    New: Zoom B3n Multi-Effects

I think there were a couple good ones in there, but I wasn't super excited by the vast majority of them.

Yeah I'm actually considering adding a second MS-70CDR to my setup be able to do this. :D

So I may be in the minority here, since I've purchased his patches for the G3xn. I found that a lot of the Zoom factory patches on the G3xn sounded over the top or just weren't something I'd use on a regular basis. Like they were more of a demonstration of "here's all the things the unit can...

    New: Zoom B3n Multi-Effects

Hah! I was wondering if he'd get around to doing some B3n patches. I have my G3xn filled with quite a few of his guitar-oriented ones, overwriting the vast majority of the factory patches.

Are you scrolling around the empty space in Stomp mode to add the effects? Or are you using Menu > Add to insert the hand icon into the spot where you want it to go?

Btw, if anyone has any suggestions about the other amp sims or settings I should try now that I'm getting my way around discovering what these sound like, I'd be glad to hear it. Also curious if my assssments of the tonal character of the other amps I talked about were generally correct?

Thanks for pointing this out, @jimfist . The half clean/half OD thing to my ears sounds really good for Stick bass.

    New: Zoom B3n Multi-Effects

Preface to this post: I am not very knowledgeable about bass amps in general. Much moreso a guitar amp guy, so exploring all the different models on the B3n, I'm approaching it with a rather inexperienced ear. For playing Stick, my needs might differ a bit from the rest of you guys. So here are...
