I would love to own an expensive bass but Im very accident prone..kinda clutsy at times. If I owned an expensive bass I would be too preoccupied caring about it's safety rather than having fun playing.

Yo, Here is an awesome site I stumbled on. Its a riddim directory. You can search out specific riddims and it lists all the artists that used them and what year they did so. Its cool tool to use to find out who the originators are of all these standards. Link Removed

actually there is a thread on here about pnut's pedal board. He uses the mxr blue box and i think that's what he is using. Im interested in this type of tone myself, it sounds like a fuzzy square wave to me.

I'm pretty sure its a ring modulator, one with a blend knob. Check out the frequency analyzer by electro harmonix. It might me be heavily compressed/gated with that.
