    Bass Straight Into Sound System?

No. Just the VT Bass Character pedal into any of the churches many DI boxes. Works great!! Of course if you need a DI can go with the DI version for a few more dollars.

    Bass Straight Into Sound System?

Same situation at my church. Tech 21 Sansamp will get the job done nicely for low cost. I use the VT Bass. Sound guys are very happy with the tone and comment that they don't really have to eq me much. That is about the best complement I can get

4 Strings vs 5 Strings - Help needed for modern Praise & Worship

Been playing P&W at the same church for about 4 years now. Same type of songs as OP stated. Started with a 4 string, but have transitioned to a 5 over the last year or so. I find the low B can add a great deal to this style of music if used in moderation like subtle intros or outros, but can...

It is mono. Two mono jacks in fact, which I don't really get. I guess to drive two PA speakers?

NAD - antique store find or fail?

Yup. Have a Tech 21 VT Bass pedal. Sounds like I just need a bargain cab for a cheap little practice rig.

I see what you mean. That's just junk and wires sticking up behind it in the pic. It's all put together.

Not in pieces I don't think? Just the head in a case/cover. Can be removed for rack mount.

NAD - antique store find or fail?

First, been reading forums on here for the last 4 years since I started playing bass. Thanks to TB for all the great info. Saved me a great deal of time and money getting started. So wife and I were browsing an antique store and over in the corner I find an old Traynor Beta 150 power amp. I...
