    The Bass That Got Away

I'll get flamed or laughed at, but I wish I had never gotten rid of my Peavey T40. That thing, no matter what the snobs say, sounded and played great. the 6nd410 is actually one of the mid drivers the cabs were designed for, the alpha 6a is just a very affordable alternative with close enough specs to keep the design. with the 6nd410, you just have to reduce the area within the chamber.

sound dampening material specially made for cabinets (like the kind blt sounds sells) is purpose made and will out perform fiberglass insulation hands down. but, i do agree that fiberglass dangers in such small quantities are not as harmful or risky as people let on.

    Setup For Whisky

This is the EXACT attitude ALL musicians should have for their entire life, by the way, no matter how big, famous, or successful they get. No gig is too small to take seriously, and that will set you apart from the millions of other arrogant musicians that think location played = talent of...

You can always try the low pass section of the 15/6 crossover, that's what I'm about to do. The 12sub has the same part values as the 12/6 low pass, so i figure it ought to work out.

I did the same on my 12/6, turns out my circular saw went screwy on me during a cross cut, and my baffle wasn't as square as it should be. Had to shim the gap with some plywood slivers, puttied it over, and painted. Once I got the diamond grate grill on, you don't even notice. Fortunately, I...

I would think simply adding a small hollow box, maybe 3" wide, on each side of the design that is isolated from the main interior of the cabinet would solve your problem... you could simply extend the dimensions of the top side of the box by 3" on either side, then place another wall flush with...
