They sound pretty good, the sound is more "hifi" then the old XL series. I only paid around half off the retail price and feel a bit lucky.. but I have no complaints :-)

I bought the Hartke LX8500 as a lighter replacement voor de HA7000 and it sounds great, more than enough power and not back breaking heavy.

I guess I could be in the Hartke club.. I'm selling my "old 410XL + 115XL" because of the weight (the sound is still great) and I just bought the new HL410 + HL115 I use a HA7000 (it's a beast) , but because of the weight I'm also looking for something more modern I also own a HD25 combo...

I have just bought 2 Modern Players, first a Satin Black V and a week later I came across a Transparent Black 4 string. They both play nice and sound good, I'm very happy with them. I taped over the pups, because I play pretty hard and was touching the magnetic poles.

I'm new to this forum and own a Fernandes witch I really like, but my main bass is this Cort Artisan B5, I think it's one of the first ever made and I bought it new around 1999, ever since I've been playing it in mainly metal.

I've found the 1994 catalogue of Fernandes and it seems to be a FRB-100, but I've read somewhere else that outside of Japan it was sold as the APB-5.
