    Cheap bass changed my life!!!

Mine was a Peavey Milestone II :) Played that bass for years and it was fantastic. I just recently used it's body with the neck of an old Washburn bass that I have and turned it into a Franken P (added some custom Lindy Fralin's :D) Wouldn't trade my old cheap basses in for anything!!!

Pickup screws coming loose while I'm playing...

I'm having a problem with the screws of my pickups staying in place. I use the pickup as a thumb rest, and after a few show I'll notice the scews starting to work themselves loose. Any reason why this is happening? It happened on my Stingray and I glued the scews into place. Now it's...

    thinking about SVT-3PRO + SVT-410HLF... thoughts?

I've been using this exact rig for the past 2 years, gigging anywhere from 2 to 3 times a week. It's held up extremely well. It gives you enough power to play anywhere from the smallest gigs to large clubs and outside events. I've played mine with both Stingrays and Thumbs and it's a...

The most appropriate drink for BASS players???

If we're talking beer...it depends on where I'm playing. I love a good microbrew...but if I can't find that, it's either New Castle...Corona...or anything they'll give me. But I don't drink beer that much. As for the real drinks, it's either Jager or Tequila...I could lick the headstock of my...

Kinda happy to be in a new band and wanted to share. (prog content)

Excellent music. The music keeps a nice groove and the singer is phenominal. Keep it up.

    Somewhat strange, very specific question

I fit one in the front seat of a 2001 BMW 325Ci (2 door). I just slid the seat all the way back and reclined it as much as possible.

    Ebay anxiety

I just bought a Warwick Thumb on Ebay about 2 months ago. Try not to worry too much. Have you sent the Seller and email asking about shipment information?

is it reasonable to buy an "gig"bass?

I use my primary basses for gigging. As long as you don't let tons of people on stage when your equipment isn't being used you should be fine. I think the dings and scratches my basses get add to the character of the guitars. One thing I have noticed is that if you're in a really smokey bar...

    been awhile! new bass/endorsement/pics

I would recommend buying the rechargable batteries. I have the exact same unit and it's eats batteries pretty bad. Other than that it's a great wireless. "i also just bought (today!) an x2 wireless for myself, the rackmount one. and i bought the premium cable. do you think it'd be worth...

You have $1200 to spend on any Ampeg head, new or used

I play an SVT3-Pro with a 4x10 Ampeg Cab and it holds up well with my Warwick Thumb. I played 100+ shows with it last year (loud rock) and didn't have any issues with it at all.
