The most appropriate drink for BASS players???

If we're talking beer...it depends on where I'm playing. I love a good microbrew...but if I can't find that, it's either New Castle...Corona...or anything they'll give me.

But I don't drink beer that much. As for the real drinks, it's either Jager or Tequila...I could lick the headstock of my bass and probably get hammered....

Read the signature...

Being from the Pacific Northwest, I also have to go the microbrew route and say a Pyramid Hefeweizen on tap. That would be my drink of choice. Of course, in these turbulent economic times, one is not always able to go the "drink of choice" route. If fundage is running low, I fall back on the good ol' Coors Light.

stereotyping all musicians with drinks (alcoholic of course)

Bass - Something smooth, groovie, a background sort of drink, you notice when it is not there, well controlled.... White Russian, or a smooth belgin wheat ale

Drums - A little more energy than the bass drink, but not too out front, needs to have a little flashyness involved... an IPA or Jack and Coke

Guitar - alot of flashyness, energy is a must, rhythm is not of chief concern... A double Bock or a jager bomb

Vocals - A flaming shot or Everclear (where legal) or 151

Real bass players don't drink fake latte's from Starbucks, unless they want to taste burnt beans. We drink real lattes from independent (non corporate) coffee shops.

I don't care where you get it from, if it's got 5 shots of espresso like the one's I get then it'll work. It just so happens that there's a Starbucks on the way to every studio or practice spot that I play at and I know what I want from them.

Personally, I prefer an elegant mixture of Jet Fuel A-1 and B, tetrodotoxin, botulinum toxin, WD40 to reduce heartburn, a little bit of plutonium for flavor, and battery acid for color.

It is awesome if drank with my favorite appetizer: shotgun shells dipped in polyethylene wax.

Everything else is gay.

PS: For between-sets rehydration I sip on mercury.
