Hey fellow TB'ers, I've been having a rather annoying issue with one of my basses lately. I've noticed a quite loud and persistent buzz on my E and A string. On the E, I get the buzzing frets 1-5, on the A frets 1-9. I've never adjusted the truss rod, or my action, I'm not sure what effects...

I get what your saying, but to counter it, I play righty bass. My non-dominant left hand can play the frets with great timing and speed, the non dominant hand is designed for rhythmic agility, such of what is used to play piano.

Agreed, age doesn't define speed, I started playing at 13, and my spoed and agility has increased now that I'm older. It's a muscle memory aspect to me.

Turning up typically helps, just don't have as much attack if you do. If you play with a pick or slap, maybe lighter gauge strings would help.
