I have seven basses but my "workhorse" instrument is a mid-Nineties Fernandes Five-String. It was meant to be their answer to the Fender Jazz Plus V. Good point: Versatile, punchy tone. Bad Point: Doesn't get respect from other players even though it's superior to the Fender in many ways.
