If you wanted to REALLY go over the top, you could put ebony/maple layered veneers between the fretboard and neck... OK, I gotta stop. Like I said, a bass pretty much exactly like this has been bumping around in my head for a while. Can't wait to see/hear it finished.

Do you have some more of that awesome Mac Ebony to make a headstock veneer? That would definitely add another layer of "uber" for me. :) Looks like this is going to be an awesome bass!

Can excessive drool short out a keyboard??? ;) If that bass plays and sounds anywhere close to how it looks, it's a KEEPER!

Holy crap, that's gotta be a rush. I've never surfed, but that looks like a LOT of fun. Of course, in reality I'd probably just break myself and die trying something like that. ;) I'll stick to watching others and if I surf it'll be on a leetle wave. *hold fingers an inch apart* :D

Had a bday recently and my friends basically brought over a smorgasboard of nice brews. We had Titan IPA, Stone Ruination IPA, 400 Pound Monkey IPA (trend? :D) Rasputin Stout, Samuel Smith's Oatmeal Stout, La Fin Du Mond, Guinness, Sam Adams and some Bud Light lime for the less beer crazy...
