Saisons, in general, are my favorite type of beer. The Schlafly saison is my favorite out of all of them, but the smokestack series is up there, for sure. Plus it's fun to drink 750ml of beer at one time.

I have really been enjoying Dupont Foret and Avril along with Fantome Saison. If you get a chance try Southampton Cuvee des Fleurs and Saison Deluxe.

) Rasputin Stout, Samuel Smith's Oatmeal Stout, La Fin Du Mond, Guinness, Sam Adams and some Bud Light lime for the less beer crazy among us...What a great party!
The standouts for me were the Samuel Smith's Oatmeal Stout and Titan IPA.

Its been unusually cold in Texas so I've been trying out some new Porters and Stouts.
The Sierra Nevada Porter was nice. I had something with some Anchors on it that was also really good.
My new favorite mass-produced beer has to be the Shiner 101 Pilsner. As a Texan, I must praise Shiner over all other beers.
Otherwise its New Belgium's Abbey ale or Paulaner Salvator for me.

As my title suggests; Red Stripe is a favorite, but Boddingtons and Pilsner Urquell are also absolutely delicious.
If you need to drink alot, Michelob Golden Light (in the crinkle can) or Coors Light. Easy case in a day.

Currently enjoying a Woodstock Inn Brewery Pemi Pale Ale. My girlfriend was kind enough to give me a membership to a "beer of the month club" deal for Christmas and this is one of four brews that was included in the last shipment.
The last beer I purchased for myself was the sixer of Full Sail Amber Ale on the way home while at the store.

Le fin du monde is my fav. Belgian style ale. Oh canada, your beers are mighty fine. Trois pistoles is also another great one.

Lately I've been picking up seasonal variety 12-packs when on sale. Pyramid just released their Spring offering. Included are three of their usual suspects: Haywire Heffeweizen (a smooth somewhat spicy wheat beer), Thunderhead IPA (a bold one with a nice kick), Audacious Apricot (a fruity wheat beer that actually works, highly recommended, a thing of beauty), and a new one - Spring Fling Pale Ale (refreshing and tasty but nothing special). Have also had good luck lately with variety packs by Samuel Adams and Michelob. My personal preference is a good pale ale or something with good old-fashioned Reinheitsgebot (Spaten, St. Pauli Girl, Beck's). It blows my mind that lots of the tastier imports can be gotten cheaper than many of the mass-produced domestics. Party on!

A friend of a friend who owns a wine store / beer store always buys a case of pyramid apricot every summer, as well as o fallon weach.
I'm still recovering from Portsmouth Brewery's Kate the Great Stout. Awesome beer release day. Had a few friends come up with me to get as many bombers as possible. Sadly, even though we got there at 7, there were no more bottles for sale. Luckily we got it on tap. I started with a Bigfoot barleywine from Sierra Nevada. Not the best beer for 11:30 in the morning, but yesterday was the exeption. If anyone has had this beer, you know it is up there with the Dark Lord, Old Rasputin and Stone's RIS. If you guys do any trading try to get one. This years brew was a little sweeter but I'd imagine it'll be perfect in 2 years.
Chocolate Stout! My own homebrewed recipe on tap. Had one last night 9 percent alcohol but finishes smooth.
I like la fin du monde a lot, but my favorite one from unibroue is la blanche de chambly.
just picked up a Folly Pack which includes 4 Fat Tires, 4 Mighty Arrows, 4 1554's, and 4 Ranger IPA's......all for under 16 bucks....I feel fancy. Just enjoyed a Fat Tire....delicious.
