1554 is a great beer. I tend to drink it in the fall. Fat tire is a great 'what to keep around for casual drinking' beer.

If you haven’t tried a Michigan brew, you’re missing out on some real good beers.
We recently played a Saturday gig at Liberty Street Brewery in Plymouth and I drank their Barber’s Garden IPA. Great taste, aroma, body, color, etc. They say the hops were grown next door at the barber shop, hence the name.
New Holland Brewery’s Mad Hatter IPA is my favorite with Bells Two Hearted coming in second. NHB’s Sundog is very good, too. I also have “real” Canadian beer from Canada (Labatt’s Blue, Molson Canadian, others), not that imported …ah, stuff.
If I was in Germany right now, I could be enjoying their beers at work, but I guess I'll have to wait till I get home.

The Woodstock Inn and Brewery! I used play in a cover band and we played there at least 5 or 6 times a year. Great beer and a great gig. We always played Friday and Saturday, they give you a dumpy band room to stay in (hey but it's free!!), and we would always pick up a couple growlers of beer at the bar. Free Dinner and breakfast was included for both nights and mornings. One of my favorite places to play a gig.
My favorite brew they offer is the Kanc Country Maple Porter (in Season now), it's killer.

There is a new specialty beer store that opened a couple of miles from my house. I tried some of this Piraat Ale from Belgium. Pretty good stuff. It's got some kick with 10.5% ABV

Sam Smith nut brown ale is also a great tasting beer. Very nutty !
You gotta try New Holland's Saison. I think it's called Golden Cap. It's got a flying monkey on the label. Great stuff!
Yea it was a good time. Didn't see the Alstrom Bros, but I was downstairs the whole day. People were saying that this was the longest beer release line they had seen. If that's true I just might be traveling for more. I was hoping to get 2 bombers so I could trade for either Pliny, but hitting on the bartender and giving her three straight awesome tips secured one Bad Larry for me and my friends. And all the people that came with me were bass players.... with beards and mustaches. MMMMmmm flavor savers

The "Red Eye" or "Bloody Beer". I usually make em with Labatt and Beefmato. The perfect morning accompaniment to cold pizza.

Yeah, it was pretty tasty stuff. My father in law was the one that told me about the Piraat. This past year he was working over in Belgium for a few weeks at a time, and that was the stuff that he really liked when he was over there.
New England is Sam Adams country, and, although I'm not a heavy drinker by any means, I'm partial to Sam Adams Boston Lager. 
Yea I'm partial to Sam, not all of their brews, but I'm really liking this new Noble Pils, so much better than the White Ale. I kinda wish there were more seasonal brews. I tend to get sick of them before they are gone. I think my favorite is Old Fezziwig from the winter collection. Your totally right about it being Sam Country round here. I really wish we could get Yuengling anywhere around here.
