Just had my first beer yesterday, Went up to canada for spring break and im 19 (so, its legal to drink here) and it was Guinness. Quite good actually, tastes like sourdough bread hahaha XD
Not nearly as heavy as i expected given what people have said about Guiness/Draughts in general.

Up in Canada they call beer bellies either Molson Muscle, Labatt Fat, or O'Keefe Beef. Just thought you'd like to know!
I think IPAs favor older guys and their less acute taste buds. Not a dig on old guys, but as you get older, your taste buds are less sensitive, so you like the hoppy stuff.
Heh, Or maybe it became time to put away childish things, IPAs are not for kids. As you mature you start to see things as they really are. Don't worry you'll get there!
Kirin Ichiban was the drink of choice the other night, pre Evil Dead the musical. We stopped at robata restaurant and got some tasty Japanese fusion food.
I had a Nogne-o Imperial Stout the other night... seriously delicious, but a wallet-mauler ($15 for a bottled pint? Yikes)
Chimay Blue is probably my favourite beer at the moment. I had to hunt all over town for a few bottles, the closest beer shops had just Chimay Red and Blonde stocked. Now I have a few in the fridge, yay!
Had one on Saturday, got back from a trip with my GF around 11 pm, had to tell her to go to bed alone, as I simply had to enjoy one of the bottles waiting several days in the fridge

This weekend, I tried Boulevard Smokestack series Two Jacks. It's labeled as malt liquor, but drinks like Belgian style ale. Also had some more of their Saison, as well as some Guinness.
