I have 50-105 Chromes on my CS Jazz. Great strings. I have a set of Labella flats on a P-Bass that I may try on the Jazz. I'm a flats convert, can't seem to go back to rounds now. :D cheers!

Ebay .... 250k CTS Not sure if a MIM is a solid or split shaft pot, pull the knob off and check. If you use a "no-load" pot, you can take the pot completely out of the circuit when its full on. In other words, all tone gets out of your bass to the amp.

Do the strings in the ops photos have silk on the ball end? I can't tell from the photos. The strings on my bass do not have silk on the ball end, only at the head. And the color looks right on with the ops photos.

No, they don't have multi-colored ball-ends, they are all gold colored. As I said I ordered some 9050's to get a spare set, assuming that the custom shop would have used Fenders. But, after reading a few dozen threads here I started to think that they may not be, so I emailed juststrings and...
