i build pedals almost every day, and i do it so i can know the guts of it. that's what it means.

actually, over the years, I've learned that if you put the fuzz directly after the tuner and before any modulation, it makes the best sound with both on because the fuzz goes through the modulation instead of the modulation through the fuzz.

okay, i have an SVT-CL. what pedal, or a schematic for a pedal for ME TO BUILD, will overdrive it to get the real fat tone an SVT has when cranked. i really would like to build it because I know where everything is and where everything went and how it works. thanks

also, do you think an MXR micro amp would do the job?

okay, on the SVT-CL, have you ever turned the gain to 10 and the master at around 5-ish? that's the sound i wanna get, just through a pedal of some sort.

okay, I'm trying to make a gain boost that will add ALOT of gain, but keep the volume the same. every gain boost I've had adds to much volume. i get that fat tube distortion with the gain boost but it just overpowers too much. anybody got any ideas?

i've had one before, it wasn't bad. what i'm wanting to do is to get the fat, fat, fat distortion that an ampeg svt-cl gives with the gain at 10 but be able to do that with a gain boost pedal instead of turning the gain up on my amp. Also to be able to have a solid clean signal as well as the...

i know that it's single channel, but could i go into an A/B loop and put my gain boost going into the "A" channel going into the -16Db input and have all my other effects going into the 0Db input from the "B" channel?
