My primary is my 1961 PBass. I was born in 1975.

A little late to the party. Music should make you happy, play what makes you happy. I've been using Rotosound RS66LD on my 61 PBass. I have the covers on, and the bridge cover has the foam attached. I like the hybrid, for lack of a better term, sound I get from this set up. So do our sound...

I use Rotosound RS66LD on my 1961 Fender PBass, with the original frets. I play with a fairly light touch. I have not had issues with fret wear.

Is the 64 AVRI string mute sponge already cut? I need to replace an original one.

I agree, I love the slab boards as well. For me, those with some Labella 760FS strings, capturevthecsoind I want. Here's my 61 PBass. It's all original, except for a touch up on the finish on the upper horn.
