Sorry late to the party. I'm just about to receive my second NC210T so will let you know! Yeah I loved the magellan cabs - should never have sold them!!! However, the NC210 is very awesome so far. Taller, louder than a single 12 (obviously) and a sweet midrange. I like the 'warmth' of the...

Alright, me again haha. Can’t decide between another NC-210T or add the NC112T…I used to run 2x112 magellen cabs and it was wicked and loud but now I have a hankering for a vertical 410 to bring the thunder. Anyone out there tried both 2x210 and a 210/112…I play rock and metal (passive J)...

    Quilter Bass Block v803

I believe both myself and @Tony G are not newbies, have troubleshot and have the same results. Noise floor added to warm and Qtube but not modern settings. For myself, I don't use tweeters, have tried different power outlets, going straight into the amp, with and without pedals etc etc etc etc...

    Quilter Bass Block v803

Thanks! Yeah I never use the tweeter, and I tried a few different powerpoints and going straight in. Noise floor for sure, but thats OK. If it was a problem live I would care but otherwise its OK. Shame though as I had a genzler kinetix, run that beast at full tilt with tubes glowing and still...

    Quilter Bass Block v803

Ahh thanks, I did look through the thread but must have missed it. All good really, just curious. I’m thinking about getting a headphone rig for home anyway so I can practice quietly etc and then rock out at rehearsal where it doesn’t matter.

    Quilter Bass Block v803

Hey team, Just got a new V803 - digging it so far. Def prefer the scoop input and the warm setting is probably my favourite. Anyway, just wanted to know if anyone elses unit it noisy on warm and Qtube settings? Mine buzzes/whines - a bit like an unshielded bass or high gain pedal. Only...

Totally. In that case go the Kinetix for sure - it’s a total beast, I’ve never got so many compliments on my sound and the DI is killer. Then you’ll have your tube ‘different’ sound when you want it and go cleaner when you need to and use your external drives.

I also play metal (post) and currently use the kinetix but had the MG. I prefer using dedicated dirt, so wouldn’t use either for that personally. The way I use the kinetix now is a heavy, clean-ish tube tone, then use dist and fuzz as needed. When I used the MG I ran the blue channel with the...

Yeah I know! I'm 100% using the kinetix. I used it with someones elses rumble 210 cab the other gig and it was not bad. My real issue is do I go for 10 or 12s to be honest. I had 12s and now I want 10s but I don't fully know why haha.

Thanks all yes good points regarding 2 drivers and I agree, makes sense to get the 212 but I am happy to make multiple trips/car space etc for 2 modular cabs (even though its silly as they cost more haha). I would totally go the ULV and I still might, it just means waiting 2-3 months and...

Hey brains trust - I’m after a few real world opinions, hopefully from the more rock/metal pick wielding crowd as that’s what I play. My last band spent 3.5 years getting compliments on my bass tone with a MG800 and Kinetix through 2x112 mG12TV cabs. Tonal bliss. Anyway, I’m an idiot and...

    Fender Rumble Club

Hey gang! Thanks for member # - rumble on low enders. Oh, I have the 500. Great advice all round - I'll search the wikis and other sections, get a HPF for sure and will try stacking them side by side! I did try putting the 500C on the bottom and cab on top but it was mostly the same. I am...

    Fender Rumble Club

Hey gang - I just picked up a rumble 210 combo and 210 cab. Having a lot of trouble with the low end and interested in some experience (not so much your opinion - no offense) of taming it. I'm really digging the tone of the combo by itself although still find it booming (in all rooms) but...
