Sorry for re-living this thread, but a great Britpop player is Suede's Mat Osman. The basslines of So Young and Heroine are very cool.

Thank you for the answer, Frenchy Lefty! I use a Darkglass B7K and for some songs I don't use the overdrive (slower and mellower songs), just the EQ. Indeed I gives more clarity, punch and growl for my bass (a P-Bass with Fralins and flatwounds). I think that's great when playing live!
