    Question about Badass III

Yes it does! What kinda bass do you have? If your getting a III, I presume you have a new jazz bass, egh? The Badass is a great bridge, I just ordered mine.

i was falling down the stairs

I have at least 2 of those kinda wounds on my bass, and honestly, I like it more. For one, it tells a story, and it looks even more badassed. What I do whenver I get a chip in my finish is take some steel wool, and rough up the paint surrounding the wood. It makes it harder to chip further and...

    BADASS HELP!!!

I know the III is a replacement, but I would be getting a deal on the original Badass if I bought it. Much cheaper.

    Badass Bridges?

Umm, are you sure about that. I've noticed a huge difference just playing my friends MIJ P/J bass when he switched out the bridge for a Badass II.

    MIM vs. MIA

Well, what it really boils down to is the sound you prefer. If you play them both and you think one of them sounds better than the other, go with it. The price of something doesn't always make it sound better, it's truely your choice. As for craftmanship and physical wellness, I would go for the...

    Badass Bridges?

Hey all, I have a 2000 Fender Standard Jazz Bass (American of course) and I've been looking to get a new bridge for it. I know the Badass II is great for sustain and tone, but I've noticed they are held on with 5 bolds. The problem being my current bass bridge is held of with 3. Do I have to...

'65 Fender Bassman or a new shotgun!?

The gun I'm looking to buy is a Remington 870, one of the most reliable pump action shotguns ever made. If I take care of the wood and clean it after every use, the value will hold or maybe even increase in the next couple of decades. Both are a good invesment and they are both in the same price...

'65 Fender Bassman or a new shotgun!?

I'm stuck between a rock and a hard place on this one. A guy in my neighboring town is selling a '65 Fender Blackface Bassman in good working condition for $400. But in my county of Western Massachusetts, Spring Turkey season starts on the 28th of March. I need a new gun before that date to...

Fender American Jazz Standard or Highway One?

I was faced with a simalar dilemma about a year ago. I was contemplating buying either a used standard or a new highway. They were both for 800 dollars and I ultimately went with the standard. It really comes down to which one you prefer as far as sound and looks. Keep in mind, the standard has...

How to make your bass your own?

My American Jazz Bass is my baby. There hasn't been a week since I've owned it that I haven't played it, and on that rare occasion, I'm away from home. It's amazing, tweaking with the action and the truss rod to get it just right, it's fun. When playing music with friends, I would do some cymbal...

    Tube vs. Solid State

I'm getting fed up with the modern day solid state amps, and I've been really interested in buying a new all tube head. I would love to get a vintage Fender Bassman, but they go pretty quick on eBay and not too many stores in my area get them. I want to either get a very good solid state head...
