I had a similar problem. I put a thin wood shim on either side of the neck, secured by just a little wood glue to the sides of the neck pocket. That was in the 80s. Haven't had a problem with it since.

You could try this...I got this trick from Danny Gatton. I just glued flat back rhinestones from the craft store to the appropriate spots. The cut glass picks up any light in the place, and it's cheap and easy. Plus, you can remove them whenever you want. I've had these on for years.

What's the string spacing on these guys?

Curious about pedals and preamps that incorporate tubes. I know nothing about anything. Just hoping some of you more experienced folks have some feedback about what's available and what they're like. Thanks!
