Bass amp and tone for Death Metal

The thing you are hearing is a hard attack and some overdrive. The pedal your using now might have some of that clanky character you’re after but the low end is getting swallowed by the distortion which is why you’re having a hard time cutting through and complimenting the guitars now. Alex...

Double Bass Bass in a case on a stand?

Ok cool, I was hesitant to to put the neck in the holder with the case in it but if you’re doing it, I’ll have to give it another shot.

Double Bass Bass in a case on a stand?

Orange obc410 vs Mesa Subway 410

Nope. Slightly different vibes though, the subway has way more clarity and low end and those are things I was looking for.

Orange obc410 vs Mesa Subway 410

I think the 12s wood suit you very well, they truly are a happy medium between the 10s and 15s.

Orange obc410 vs Mesa Subway 410

I’ve played through the 1x12, 1x15, 2x12, and 2x15. The 2x15 sub lows are just insane, it can handle crazy levels of volume, I used to have an SVT 8x10 and it really gives that a run for its money

Orange obc410 vs Mesa Subway 410

Subs and lows are weigh the Mesa subways shine. I would think the best choice for your goal would be the 2x15 though. If you want to maintain more of that 10” articulation the 2x12 is probably the best of both worlds.
