Has anyone else tried the 700 with bass? I currently run an Alembic F1-X preamp (or sometimes an Ashdown RPM-1 preamp) into a Crown power amp into a 4ohm Ashdown 4x10. The Crown is pretty heavy, so this is appealing to me. IF it sounds good....

Okay. Finally made it out to the studio and took some pics. I misspoke; it's a leather-clad nylon strap. There's some writing that I think says "Genuine Leather" "Made In Canada" and maybe some kind of part number, but it's faded.
