Hi buildner, I have an early AB20 and I need to rewire it, would you be so kind as to unscrew the control plate where you plug in the bass and take some photos, I don't know how to hook up the preamp. Or if you know how to draw a wiring diagram? Cheers in advance

Hi bought a Lakland skyline 55 02 second hand. When I turn the bass pot to add bass it cuts out. There is no signal to output. I got a brand new one from Lakland and installed it and the problem is still there. Anyone else had a problem like that? Cheers Billyboybass

Hi, I have the same problem with the bass pot, it does not go past quarter turn, then cuts out. I got a new one from Lakland and replaced it. Problem still here. Don't know what to do next? Anyone have a suggestion? Cheers Bill

Fire fire is right, just burn them off. I have done that with flatwounds which look pretty tatty after a few years. Take em off the bass first, Billybass

these are Fender Flatwounds, I think 9050's .055 .070 .090 .105 I have em on my bass, too bad they're discontinued, maybe you can find old new stock, cheers Billybass
