    Am I too old to get started in this?

    I started at 46 and am still playing at 69. Never too old to start something. There's a great site, Zzounds, that I get my gear at. Pay while you play. Just got a Schecter Model T Session for $62 per month

    walterw...Thanks for that info. I got a DIY bass as a gift and noticed that the bolts thread through the body. just one of the (little problems) you get with a cheap DIY kit from Ebay. there are more, oh yes, there are more.
