Mesa cab (or other cabs) model differences

Is there something going on with the Subway cabinet building? I ordered a 2x10 Subway cabinet in February from a local store (in San Rafael) and it still hasn't shown up. Am I just being impatient?

What happened to Mesa Boogie cabinets?

Our band (Americana, country, classic rock, pop, some blues, indie...well, everything) uses two Evolve 50s with one (or two, depending on the venue) Presonus Air 15 subs. We get plenty of volume and easy carrying and setup.

What happened to Mesa Boogie cabinets?

I will be adding a 2x10 SW cab to this identical rig for my go to.

    Which Companies PLEK their Basses?

Even multi-scale instruments? It would seem that the PLEK machine would not be suited to frets that are not parallel.

Barefaced has an 8x10 that weighs 79 pounds. Their stuff is topnotch IMO.

    Gibson Acquires Mesa/Boogie

It's a good head. The 125/250W switch comes in very handy.

I am in Cab decision paralysis! Looking for a 2x12 or 2x15 to replace an 8x10

I have both of those BF cabs and they are right up your alley. The 6x10 cab is 64lb anf the 2x12 cab is 49lb. The only hitch might be the price.

    SOLD Modulus M92 5-string *2nd PRICE DROP*

Are the original pickups easy to swap back? That is, do they have quick connectors or is it a solder job?

    Gibson Acquires Mesa/Boogie

Me, too. I have a number of Mesa products and they are all great. Strangely enough, I was considering selling my Prodigy head because I just don't use it. My Subway + preamp thingie is working great through the PA (with subwoofer) so I don't need cabs and heads.

Is EDEN on the way out?

I have a WT-300 (called "the Traveller" made in 1994. Fan noise was a big problem, perhaps because the fan was old, so I replaced the fan and cut out the area where the previous vent slots were. After installing a safety cage, the amp was quiet as a mouse and ran considerably cooler. The old...

Recommend a six string bass under $1500

Agreed, I just got one used for $150. One thing I would (and probably will) change is sand down the edge where my forearm rests. It's a little uncomfortable.
