Standard showcase neck -BML 17.46mm - tight fit was scariest part of build for me. I put the bezels in the freezer (lol) and tapered the openings very slightly before pressing them in. I dont think the freezer part made any difference however :)

The frets are an alloy similar to stainless with the gold coloring throughout. They are between nickel and stainless in hardness. The bass went together with no real problems whatsoever. I took my time with the sanding (600 grit wet) of the danish oil finish- to seal the endgrain. Turned out...

The neck pocket on my build was perfect. I could gently set the neck in the pocket and lift the body up without the screws. I didnt have to do a thing-certainly not with a dremel. I found the build fairly easy. Good luck - YMMV :)
