If you’re going to get one to start..I recommend the Broughton HPF/LPF first. It solves a lot of problems.

The Broughton HPF/LPF is really an amazing tool to help you quickly adapt to different live situations. I can “tune” to a stage intuitively just by listening and sweeping the knob, brilliant piece of equipment.

Better for touring in rough weather..Doc’s.

IMHO a hpf/lpf is a much more effective live tool. It helps me tame the room and eek out more volume from smaller rigs.
