There's something about Simon Gallup's playing in the Cure... it's not complicated, sometimes it's not even that catchy, but it's so.... present. Really out front in the mix but not trying to be spectacular, driving the songs but still leaves so much space for Robert Smith's melodies.

What's the point of a pick that replicates the tone of fingers? Fingers sound like fingers already, if I use a pick it's for something different.
