Gig Footwear?

Red Wing iron rangers. I play most of my gigs in western PA. Lot's of people round here just wear boots and jeans, so I do too. I sometimes bust out the black Chucky Taylors, but only for special occasions, like that time I played a pit orchestra for Grease.

I have 7 pair of high tops. Chucks and PF Flyers , I also have biker boots I wear in the cold months ( both of them here in FL). I had a wide foot otherwise I would have way more cool shoes. I own more shoes than my wife.

Dr Martens. Boots for rock shows, a really nice pair of Dr Marten wingtips for gigs that are dressier. I need to be able to bounce.

Black Hoka canvas sneakers.... the hippest/ least orthopaedic looking ones I could find to fit my orthotics and dodgy foot. I wear the Leather version for fancy gigs.

Blk Suade Pumas! (or really any all blk sneaker) if dress shoes aren't needed. I can't wear vans or converse anymore—Me feets gone flat!

Black walking or running shoes with store bought inserts. I have to go with comfort over style, ever since I started managing heel pain. Good arch support inserts do wonders for the heel pain, even though I don't really understand how that works.

Depends on the gig. Sometimes snakeskin boots, sometimes black dress shoes, sometimes sneaks. Almost always though, none.

I wear boots for everything. Consequently I have about 20 pairs of boots in my closet to cover every possible footwear scenario.

Same. Everything from casual boots to motorcycle boots to desert tactical boots.

I got bunions from wearing Chucks 1-3x/week with my 80s band for a couple years. No joke, now I wear some wide funky footwear made by Softstar Shoes - Minimal, Zero-Drop Leather Shoes Made in the USA
