Gig Footwear?

Thought those were tiger feet on first glance. You missed a Mud joke by *this* much.

Having recently discovered Powerstep insoles, all my shoes and boots are now potentially gig shoes. I used Superfeet insoles back in the 'oughts as a leg in the Army, but I find them a bit stiff and unforgiving for standing around.

Cherry Red Doc Martens. Always.

We used to call that colour "Oxblood."
I had a pair of Dr. Marten's from 1981 (11 hole) in black that I used to wear a lot (lost in fire).
I also have some leather black Chuck Taylor's that work great.

Another favourite pair from the 80s was a pair of fashion boxer's boots (not real athletic wear but looked like it).

Chuck Taylor hi tops (black or blue) when the weather is warm
Dr Martens 1460s (black or red) when it's cooler

I have other shoes but the above is my usual stage wear. I draw the line at sandals onstage, for me, but I wouldn't dictate what anyone else can/should wear; that's fascism.
