Gig Footwear?

I found these purple suede Vans yesterday. Had to get them!
They are very uncomfortable, so I also bought a pair of $15 running shoe inserts, which made them pretty tolerable.

Great laces on those.

They would go well with my tie died blue/purple long sleeve T shirt. I felt lucky in that I found my Vans at a local consignment shop in looks-like-new condition for $5, and they actually fit me.

I’m one of those barefoot shoes weirdos, and neither band dresses up to play, so most of the time it’s these (Vivobarefoot Gobi II).

Those are fly as hell. I hope no one gets on your bad side and gets a kick to the shins if you're wearing the bottom right pair.

I typically wear black vans or black Chuck Taylors. I'm in a punk/death rock band so it's fitting to wear black.

I've filled in for a friend's cover band before and we usually coordinate a bit for dress, and in that case, I'll usually wear a pair of shoes the color we're coordinating on.

Also, I'd LOVE a pair of these, but I can only seem to find them in children's sizes...

I just “retired” a pair of those two-tone blue checkered vans. They served me well from the day they came out of the box, till they transitioned from daily wear to “lawn mower” sneakers and finally to the Viking funeral in the burn pit about a week ago.
