Personally, i could easily see myself turning up to that audition with one or 2 basses and a cord. If the band is worth playing in, they'll have a p.a. i can d.i. into and i'll just use sidefills and floor monitors to hear myself. It really isn't as ridiculous as it sounds. On a less dramatic...

Is the crack towards end of fretboard/headstock only in the fingerboard? Since there is no side angle pic, it's hard to tell. Did you imply that this crack started as a result of your nut install? As a potential buyer, i just want to make sure there is no damage to the maple at this headstock...

I've got one of his 6 string basses. He does nice work. A rare item, even here. Last one i saw many years ago was the one i bought, doubt you shall have any problems selling that one.
