I use a Fishman Platinum Pro Bass EQ. It's amazing! Shapes the mids beautifully.

they like to have "control" over your tone. MOst D.I. Boxes are "flat" and give them complete tonal control.

Had 4 of these things delivered, all 4 had damage from shipping! That and the fact that they rattle led me to Markbass...but I did prefer the tone of the GK to the Markbass...shame they can't get a handle on the build quality/shipping thing?

I looked at that too. Same build. Flimsy back panel is gonna rattle. I know you can't hear it rattling when your playing anyway cause EVERYTHING else is in the room is rattling too, but it makes me CRAZY!

this is really frustrating. If I turn the bass WAY back the speakers don't "click", but then the UEB sound like poo! a big steamy pile of trebley poo! Shouldn't this cab be able to handle a UEB?
